la fin d'une aventure... / the end of a journey

bonjour tous,
le couperet est tombé la semaine dernière... mon employeur a changé d'avis... disons que les big boss n'aiment pas mon visa, à priori ils ont peur que ça ne les engage trop.. bref, ils ont interdit à mon patron de m'embaucher... du coup bein la franchouillarde, elle doit rentrer en France... les boules...
du coup je fait un arrêt à Montreal, pour découvrir la ville, et soutenir mon dossier de demande d'immigration permanente en passant par le Quebec. Un ami a accepté de me recevoir. Je pars donc jeudi de Vancouver, et rentre en France le 17 mars...
Je reste motivée et espère que mon dossier sera accepté, pour que je puisse revenir d'ici un an environ...
Mes plans pour le futur: passer un peu de temps avec mon frangin, y donner un coup de main au resto et traiteur, puis retenter l'aventure audiovisuelle... Marseille ou Paris... mais la vie parisienne ne me motive pas plus que cela... si vous avez des contacts pour du boulot, appart ou autre, je suis preneuse !!

I received the bad news last week... I have to go back to France. I worked for my new employer a couple of days a few weeks ago... but when the administration saw the copy of my visa, they freaked out and ordered my boss not to hire me anymore! said that it didn't work that way, that they couldn't accept my work permit etc. No point in fighting with such a big company. I don't have a job anymore (I can only have one employer) so I'm going back to france. That sucks but no choice...
I will be stoping in Montreal for a few days, where a friend of mine nicely accepted to host me. It will help me for my permanent residency application because I'm asking it through Quebec. Also I've always wanted to visit Montreal. I just wished it was under different circumstances. I'm leaving Van on thrusday and will be back in France on the 17th.
I'm planning on spending some time with my brother when I arrive, and help him out with his business, then try to make it in the tv and film biz in Marseille or Paris again but the Parisian life is not so appealing to me....
I'll keep you all posted. Thank you all again for your visit here, for your kind words and cheering up. It all helped a lot!
