coucou tous,
Voici les dernières nouvelles du front.
Lundi (avant hier) devait être mon dernier jour sur Stargate mais à priori je bosse demain aussi, et ça tombe bien car c'est le dernier jour de la série...je pourrai dire, j'y etais :)
2nd unit finit vendredi mais c'est une équipe réduite donc pas besoin de moi.
Bonne nouvelle, Larie et moi avons réussi à nous incruster à la soirée de samedi soir où toute l'équipe (acteurs, producteurs, techniciens etc.) est invitée pour fêter le 100ème épisode et la fin d'Atlantis. Alcool à volonté, ça devrait promettre :) ... et oui maman, je fais attention! Un bon point: j'habite à quelques blocs à pieds du lieu de la soirée ;)

Et aprés ? rien n'est encore fait mais notre boss sur stargate va bosser sur un long métrage à partir du 20 octobre, jusqu'a fin decembre et il compte embaucher Larie et moi. Donc j'ai plus qu'a trouver à bosser jusqu'au 20 octobre et ça devrait le faire :)
On m'a deja appellé plusieurs fois pour bosser sur Cats and Dogs2 et sur le nouveau film de Battlestar Galactica. Malheureusement je n'etais pas dispo mais bientot je le serai. En plus Michelle (notre boss actuelle) doit commencer bientot sur un autre projet, donc elle devrait nous amener avec elle :) Tout devrait donc bien se passer côté boulot.

Côté appart, on se fait à notre nouvelle vie à deux :) Enfin maintenant va falloir que j'aille faire des courses pour remplir le frigo quand même parce que j'avais pris l'habitude de manger au boulot matin midi et soir !

Dam est allé faire du roller, quand il revient on met les voiles vers Kisha Poppo histoire de se remplir le bide de sushis avec le All you can eat !!

Oh et Bon Anniversaire Mme Ferrent ;) Félicitations encore pour ton mariage !!

J'oubliais, on a pris la photo de toute l'équipe de la serie lundi. C'etait sympa, tout le moonde etait melangé, acteurs, prods, techniciens, et pauvres assistants de prod...et je sais pas comment je me suis débrouillée mais je me suis retrouvée au troisième rang, premier rang debout ! en plein milieu !! on risque pas de me rater ! j'espere voir la photo un jour ou l'autre! je vous tiens au courant :)

this time I'm taking the time to translate :)
sorry about the previous emails. Most of them haven't been translated cause I was lazy...and busy ;)

Anyway, Atlantis comes to an end tomorrow for main unit and friday for second.
This past monday was supposed to be my last day but it looks like I'm gonna be working tomorrow as well :) it's good, I will be able to say that I was there for the end of the show :)
Also good news, Larie and I found a way to go to the wrap party on saturday. All the cast and crew (producers included) are invited to celebrate the end of season 5, the 100th episode and the end of the show. It should be lots of fun.... and there's free booze ! :) It's a good thing I live only a few blocks away from the venue ;)

After that, nothing is sure yet. I've been called several times to work on several projects like Cats and Dogs 2, or the new Battlestar movie but I wasn't available. I will be soon so hopefully I'll find something quickly. Also our boss will be working on a feature film starting photography october 20th and he said he would take us with him. So hopefully this will happen. I'll only have to find day calls until then. Our other boss, should be starting to work on another project very shortly and she should also bring us with her...fingers crossed.

On a more domestic point of view, Damien and I are getting used to our new lifestyle now that Gabriel is gone back home. The only thing is that I'll have to go grocery shopping now that am not working on stargate anymore... I was used to eating breakfast, lunch and dinner at work so my fridge is empty ! am gonna miss catering...

Damien went rollerblading. When he's back we're leaving for Kisha Poppo where the all you can eat is awaiting us ! I'm in need of sushis right now !!!!!!!!!!! can't wait for a good well deserved japanese feast!

I wanna wish the new Mrs Ferrent a happy birthday and congratulate her on her recent matrimony :)

oh I forgot to say that we took the crew/cast photo the other day at work. It was nice, everyone was mixed together in front of the stargate. I don't know how it happened but I ended up in the 3rd row, first row standing, right in the middle !! At least people will see me alright! I hope to see the pic soon, I'll keep you posted !
